SOLAR STATION

My name is Lukáš Jezný and I am a professional mobile application developer. I am also the owner of a 10 kWp photovoltaic power plant with a SOLAX inverter installed at my family home. After launching the power plant, I was missing a device that would provide clear information about its performance and could be placed, for example, on a wall in the living room, similar to a thermometer. Although there are mobile and web applications, I felt the need to have "something on the wall." In January 2023, during winter days, I came up with the idea to create such a device using an e-ink display.

E-ink displays operate on the principle of electrical charge, similar to well-known children's toys. They consume electrical energy only when the display is updated, which is ideal for devices that show data with longer update intervals. Cloud-based inverter solutions typically load data every five minutes, which perfectly suits e-ink displays. Thus, you see the current production values, battery status, and consumption on the display, which are no older than five minutes.

In April 2023, I unveiled a device I had been working on since January and was pleasantly surprised by customer interest. I purchased 3D printers to produce e-ink display housings. My device helps customers easily monitor the production and consumption of their photovoltaic power plants. However, my project would not have been possible without the support of my wife Míša, who handles the shipping and production of the housings. All inquiries and order requests are handled by her, and I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to her for her support.

We would like to point out that we are not a typical e-shop with two-day delivery. If we have the relevant components in stock, we will ship the Solar Station to you within a week. In the case of longer delivery times, we will inform you about the status of your order via email. Our goal is to adhere to delivery times within four weeks.
